Bootcamp 2021 Capstone Day - September 30th 2021, 3pm

After 4 months of intense training, the students of Ayiti Analytics 2021 Data Science bootcamp are ready to demonstrate their skills. The students studied programming in Python, data visualization with Power BI, database management with SQL and business analysis with a systems approach. In order to complete the training portion of the Data Science bootcamp, students must complete a capstone project  based on their personal and professional interests of how data analytics can be used within the context of Haiti. Topics selected by the student range from public health and education to marketing and economic analysis.

We are excited to share the students projects with the public so that may inspire you, as they have the Ayiti Analytics team, about what is possible in Haiti when we combine young people, technology and the motivation to ask difficult questions. To help prepare the students for the next step in their professional careers, the students will have the opportunity to respond to questions from a small panel of guest judges that are working professionally in technology, these judges will also provide private individualized feedback to each student regarding their project. This event marks not the end of the students journey but instead the beginning of the many more contributions that we can expect from them in the future.

We hope that you join us for the event live on Thursday, September 30th from 3 – 6pm  (Port-au-Prince, Eastern Standard Time) The event will primarily be in English and Creole. Students presentation will take place in English but they will record presentations in Creole at our Data Lab that will be shared on social media after the event.

We will also be live streaming on Facebook, follow us on social media to stay updated about all our events and announcements!
